There are numerous ways for alumni to stay connected to DeVry.
Stay connected with:
Current students
- Be a guest speaker at new student orientations.
- Respond to email messages on the web board from prospective students looking for advice on whether DeVry is the right fit.
- Talk with prospective students at a local college fair.
- Participate in local high school mentoring programs.
- Speak with a current DeVry class about your experiences while attending DeVry and the professional world.
- Mentor current DeVry students via email or telephone, or in person.
- Encourage a student to return to DeVry to complete his or her education.
- Speak to or serve as advisor to a student organization or club.
- Sponsor a competitive team for activities such as robotics or C++ competitions.
- Help identify co-op jobs or other part-time employment for current students.
- Serve on a DeVry curriculum advisory board.
- Represent DeVry on a government regulatory or advisory board.
- Talk with local government and business leaders about DeVry.
- Spread the word about DeVry in your community.
Fellow graduates
- Start or join an alumni association chapter in your community.
- Help organize a class reunion.
- Join the DeVry Entrepreneur's Club and connect with fellow graduates who've started their own businesses.
- Mentor a recent graduate, someone new to your industry or someone new to your community
